Part 1: Do you usually make decisions quickly?
It depends on the type of decision. For small things like choosing what to eat or where to go with friends, I can decide quite quickly. However, for more important decisions, especially related to study or work, I prefer to take some time to think carefully and consider the possible consequences before making a final choice.

One good decision that someone I know made recently was my older cousin’s decision to quit his stressful job and start working remotely for a smaller company. He had been working for a large marketing company in Ho Chi Minh City for nearly five years. Although the salary was quite high, he was constantly under pressure and often had to work overtime, even on weekends. Because of that, he rarely had time for himself or his family, and his health gradually became worse. He frequently complained about feeling exhausted and losing motivation.
About three months ago, he decided to resign and accept a remote position at a smaller international startup. At first, many people in the family were surprised because his previous job was considered stable and prestigious. However, he explained that he wanted a healthier lifestyle and more flexibility in his daily routine. He also believed that mental health and work-life balance were more important than simply earning a high income.
I think it was an excellent decision for several reasons. First of all, he looks much happier now. He has enough time to exercise, cook meals at home, and spend time with family members. In addition, working remotely allows him to avoid long hours stuck in traffic, which used to be one of the most stressful parts of his day.
Another reason why I admire this decision is that it required a lot of courage. Many people are afraid of leaving their comfort zone, especially when they already have a well-paid job. However, my cousin was willing to take a risk in order to improve his quality of life. Since changing jobs, he has become more energetic and optimistic, so I truly believe he made the right choice.

Part 3: Should people always stick to the decisions they make?
I think it depends on the situation. Sometimes changing a decision can be a smart choice, especially when people realize they made a mistake or discover better opportunities later on. For example, some students choose a university major because of pressure from their parents, but after studying for a while, they may notice that they aren’t interested in it at all. In that case, changing their major could help them become happier and more successful in the future.
However, I also think people shouldn’t change their decisions too easily whenever they face difficulties, because success often requires patience and commitment.
